Happy 2012! We’re only a week into January and we can already tell this is going to be one wild year for us at Linda’s. We have so much incredible merch in stock and on its way for the year and we are so pumped to share everything with you!
Although we’re well in the post-millenium years, we believe there is some value in old touches: we’re thinking vintage-inspired beading, rock and roll featured pieces, and even old-fashioned notecards to highlight a sentimentality we think is getting lost in the times.
Check out these detailed tops; the beading highlights and old-fashionedness while the shapes are modern and totally wearable:
For the kiddies we have rock and roll inspired jumpsuits and dresses. These are seriously cool. With shiny yet subtle detailing, your girls are sure to rock wherever they go: from the playground to the birthday party to the poolside. This line is fun, chic, and most importantly, comfortable for your mini me (we’re betting you’ll be a little jealous of her style and might even try to finagle her dress as a tunic for yourself). With Jimi Hendrix, The Beetles and Rolling Stones designs, your little ladies will be sporting old school prints while maintaining an edgy and unique look. (PS: a lot of these pieces are reversible. Can you say bang for your buck?) Moms, apologies for being old-fashioned, but what we know you’ll really love about these pieces is that they are DURABLE: as the company touts, they are “playground and washing machine friendly.”
Comfy and convertible!
This baby is reversible.
Another notable item we must share is the Superga sneaker. This year the girls will have the chance to dawn their feet with shine: these are totally wearable while still enticingly fashionable–the sparkles will bring some fun to anything she’s wearing.
Way too cute!
Finally, we have to share with you one of our most recently featured designers: Gert Block. This cool lady handcrafts everything from note cards to one-of-a-kind brooches that are sure to spruce up any outfit (G2G tip: if you ever spill a little something on your blouse, cover it up with one of these bad boys and you’ll be even more fashionable than you ever intended. Ha!).
Gert Block reconstructs vintage watches and gems to make a totally new and unique pieces. Each piece of hers is a treasure: it’s like digging through your grandmother’s jewelry box and loving everything you find.
There’s nothing better than sending a hand written card; Gert’s kitschy cute designs would be a dream to receive via snail mail. You MUST come in and see for yourself!
We hope you getting good vibes from 2012–come shop and see for yourself what kind of old touches you’ll need to add into this year’s wardrobe.
Stay Trendy!
xoxo,
The Crew @ Linda’s G2G
